About our Riding

Hamilton Centre has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004. It was created from parts of the previous historical Hamilton-East, Hamilton West and Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough ridings.

Its boundaries are Lake Ontario in the north, Highway 403 in the west, the Niagara Escarpment in the south and Kenilworth Avenue in the east.

According to the 2016 Census, the population of Hamilton Centre is 100,103.
